Embracing Islam is an adventure into an exciting and wonderful world full of surprises, challenges and rewards. Every step should be exhilarating as new signposts are discovered and old ones left behind. How does one maintain the spiritual buzz? How does one stop being over-enthusiastic and hence avoid burn-out?
Is there any guidelines on what to prioritise in terms of Islamic learning? Where and to whom should a new Muslim go for guidance?
These and a lot of other questions will be the focus of a discussion between New Muslims - converts and reverts, old and new - and a panel of eminent teachers of orthodox Islam including Habib Kazim Saqqaf (Tarim, Yemen), Shaykh Umar al-Khatib (Tarim, Yemen) and Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad (Cambridge, UK).
